soft, firm and delicate

transfixed in the making

 

the tender embracing of

Earth’s sweet scents

 

transmuted into woven

formations ocean deep

 

the sun a gleaming witness

the moon’s grace in hiding

 

the gathering, the giving,

the chant of devotion
