Her Being

there is in the one
something of the fragile
the alone and frightened
afraid for its beauty, perhaps,
how it is received
and how it fills space,
the edges and contours of self
and so her dance becomes
a solitary one, she moves
with hesitance, supported,
if that, by her groundless
but in this one!
a beacon, a ray of hope,
not for her isolated quality,
out there under vast skies,
no, but how she invokes
precious reminder and inspiration
how in her beauty she allows
us to see, once again,
the all and the whole of Being,
the balance of forces, the
winds of all directions,
in this her cosmic self – TS
